ctrl F8 places date node at tree root, not under selected node

Version, Operating system 1.2.0 ubuntu 22 LTS

Describe the bug ctrl F8 places date node at tree root, not under selected node the only way to get the date node under the selected node is by right clicking the node you want the date node to go underneath./

To Reproduce select a node above the root and hit ctrl+f8

FYI. This does not occur in 1.2.0 windows 10. CTRL+F8 inserts the date tree under the selected node.

@innvader can you look at preferences -> keyboard shortcuts and see if it is still enabled? Maybe also try to reset to default (same dialog, bottom right) image
