search dont find all positions
Version: CherryTree 0.99.47 and 0.99.43 OS Ubuntu 22.04
STRG+SHIFT+F1 searching for a match. It shows me only 3 found hits. but here are >30 in it. Older versions showed those hits.
I have no sensitive letter control. searching easy matches like "water". Nothin special. In older version it took a long time to search all hits. In newer Versions, it shows very fast, but in my case only 3 hits, instead of > 30.
Maybe Im wrong?
Can you try, with the latest version, to click the menu item search--clear exclusions from the search? There was a silly bug from me time ago that caused unwanted exclusions in nodes properties
I installed from git by using: git clone https://github.com/giuspen/cherrytree.git cd cherrytree git submodule update --init ./build.sh ./build/cherrytree
also cleared all exclusions. If I enter folder → emails and search for some content by pressing STRG+f it finds about 20 hits. going outside this folder and searching hole content(STRG+SHIFT+f), it only shows 3 hits. search --clear exclusions - "shows 0 folders changed"
It worked on Ubuntu 20.04.. I did a upgrade to 22.04 and had this issue since then. before this upgrade I saw how I ran through folders very fast. after upgrade it searching not through, it shows very fast only 3 hits.
by the way, I love your the software. I use It for programming notes. \o/
I'm also on 22.04 now. If you can send me a test document and tell me what to search for, I can try and reproduce. My personal email at help--about dialog
Hello, Im totally confused, cause today it worked like it should. I did a few reboots cause of some updates of other packages. Today I wanted to prepair a file for you, to check. So tried once more. now it works fine.
I dont know why. Now it works on 0.99.43 and 0.99.47. sounds crazy. Thank you. If it happens again, I will tell you.
