Theming Support incomplete?
If I switch to a dark theme like cobalt, the menu bar remains in a light background, perhaps the menu bar is handled by a standard windows control? The same applies to the scrollbars;
In consequence of this the icons arent visible anymore, If I switch the icon set to dark mode, because Icons and labels are then turn to light and the background remains light:
So I'm forced the leave the icons in default or light mode, but than the icons of file attachment looks ugly:
So, whenever I try dark mode, a few days later I'm switching back to light mode. I think theming only makes sense with nonmanaged windows without default windows controls? At least with MS windows. What I'm dreaming off is an appearance like this...:
Even menus and context menus, the title bar etc. is dark, so the programs looks pretty uniform.
Similar here with AppImage v.0.9.55 on Linux Fedora.
Looking forward to a full dark mode, as shown in the last comment above (las pic).
Currently what I get when selecting DARK theme is the darkening of the nodes tree and tree name only. The menus and the note editor itself, which occupies most of the screen, remain light.
Thank You.
So as not to spam the dark mode threads I'll just post a link to my other post showing how to get closer to dark mode in windows: https://github.com/giuspen/cherrytree/issues/2414#issuecomment-1936037826
The relevance here is the OP was concerned that the menu bar section wasn't supporting the dark mode icons, and this fixes that.
