Clone repository progress stuck in between

Description

Cloning repository process just stops in between and never gets complete, even the progress modal, doesn't even close.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Click on Clone repository from the menubar.
2. Fill all the fields.
3. Click on clone repository button
