Facebook App Review?

I have everything set up and can successfully post to my Facebook page from Postiz. However, I was wondering about Facebook's Development vs Live App Mode. From Facebook:

In Development mode, your app can only request data from users with an app role. To request end user data, your app must have Advanced Access permissions and be set to Live mode.

I already took care of the permissions for Facebook, requesting access, like this page stated. But these permissions are all "Advanced Access" permissions.

Can I continue to use the app for just myself, and keep it in Development mode? I don't need other users using it. I'm just not sure if the permissions are only temporary, and if I'll lose access to them after a period of time if I don't submit the app for Review. The entire Facebook process for getting this all working is extremely unintuitive, especially for private app use.

It is my understanding that posts made while in "dev" mode instead of "live" are only available to be seen by you as the app creator. I may be wrong but that's how I understood it.

@johnweland @threehappypenguins I'm also a bit confused by the Facebook docs, would you happen to know, is advanced access needed for Postiz to work correctly with Instagram and Facebook? When I try to request access to advanced permissions, it states access verification and app review are required.

yeah I have noticed that. I have yet to submit for review because you also need to provide a working TOS and privacy policy URL (that is the same as your app)

no need to apply for review. Just put it to live mode and you will be able to use it with fanpages on your account which are connected to the APP. Other accounts can be invited as testers too

Its asking me for a app logo, a cateogry and privacy policy as well to make it live
