What kind of change does this PR introduce?

Adding SECURITY.md file to the project

Why was this change needed?

As stated in issue #288 The file is crucial for providing guidelines on reporting security vulnerabilities and ensuring proper security practices. Adding this file would help contributors and users understand the project's security policies.

The SECURITY.md file is based on the GitHub Security Policy Template.
