there is an option in VSCode or with the GitLens extension to directly open the repository in the GitKraken client?, something like the extension for Visual Studio: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=StevenRoeland.OpenWithGitKraken

+1 fellas. I've been using Gitkraken for 7 years and only GitLens Pro for a few weeks. I'm not 100% comfortable working just in GitLens and there isn't exact feature parity nor is the UX as pretty. It would be a huge help to be able to open my current VS Code workspace in Gitkraken from GitLens. It would also be very cool if a VS Code workspace could be used to create a Gitkraken workspace.

Hi @prmichaelsen - We don't have a "Open in GitKraken" button yet, but you can create a GitKraken workspace from your VS Code workspace!

  • Navigate to the GitLens sidebar and expand the GitKraken Workspaces view
  • Right-click Current Window and click Convert to Cloud Workspace... from the context menu
