Hide remote indication from commit views
I'm typically displaying the GitLens view in the vertical side bar of my screen and shrink it pretty much:
As a consequence, I often fail to read the name of the latest commit that I have pushed because the < origin >
indication is consuming too much space. Actually, I have installed GitLens for more than one year but only realized recently that this display is referring to just another commit.
I would love to have an option to disable this label. If it can be reduced to a single character (☁
?), this would be optional, otherwise, the icon could be replaced or decorated for this purpose. Another option would be to insert a separate line for this information (just like the Over a week ago
). This would help me grasp more information from the space that I am willing to give this useful tool.
