Unable to Access scrollTo Method

The ReadMe documentation mentions a "scrollTo" method that have not been able to access. I have tried to access this method via the React Ref and it appears the method does not exist on the Ref. Can an example be provided here or in the project so that I and future users may understand how to access and use this Ref? ( I chose to post this here instead of stack overflow for fear that it may go un-noticed on stack overflow )
