Gitify using insane amounts of CPU

My computer was recently being way slower than it usually is, so I checked Activity Monitor in case something was causing problems. As it turns out, Gitify was using over 50% of my CPU. I'm not sure exactly what triggered this or how to get debug information, but yeah. I'm not entirely sure how to reproduce this either, but maybe someone else has also had this problem?
