Auto-clear for PR notifications if the PR has been merged
I realize this may not be ideal for everyone's workflow, but perhaps as an optional setting?
We use gitify as a sort of realtime todo list and get a lot of traffic through it on any given day. I spend more time clearing out notifications for PRs that have already been merged than finding things that still need to be done. And doing so requires clicking through each one to make sure it's been merged.
If not removing the notifications completely (and marking them as seen), how about color-coding them so that open PRs are easy to distinguish from merged, and we can sweep through them manually more quickly?
I know some requests have been declined because they would require extra HTTP requests to get information not currently provided in @github's api. Personally I wouldn't care if it took 4 extra HTTP requests per notification, because Gitify really helps to make sure I'm staying on top of what's needed from me throughout the day.
+1 from me -- even gitify it just showed that the notification is a PR merge via icon, like GitHub's web notifications do:
