Activate slashed zero by OpenType feature "zero"
The OpenType feature "zero" is the common method to activate the slashed zero.
By this you will be able to use the following CSS to enable the slashed zero:
font-variant-numeric: slashed-zero;
I agree with such suggestion. I would also like to suggest another change to activation of opentype feature regarding alternative glyphes for zero: make it so that different CVs activate different alternative glyphes for zero as tools such as fontfreeze ( https://mutsuntsai.github.io/fontfreeze/ ) does not yet support “freezing” CVs with other value than 1. ( e.g. This tool can't yet freeze Monaspace fonts to lock the zero variant with reversed slash as default glyph. )
