Instructions on windows vs code are not correct

Please change them to be the following:

  1. Install the Variable Fonts.
  2. Apply them by changing Font Family in settings to 'Monaspace Argon Var', monospace (you can change Argon to the other names)

When I install the .ttf files like recommended in the README.md it doesn't work.

That's because you installed the Variable fonts, which have different names from the Static fonts.

If you installed the static fonts instead, the recommendation in the README.md is correct. FYI, the README does note that Variable fonts are not well supported by VS Code.

Monaspace's downloads have changed in version 1.3, making this no longer an issue.
