Rendering LaTeX in bullet points doesn't work

Open drorata opened this issue 3 years ago • 5 comments

While $x^2$ is rendered nicely, something like:

  • $y^2$
  • or maybe $z^2$

do not...

NB: This comment rendered now (2022-05-29) seems to work fine; probably there was some fix under the hood.

I can confirm that MathJax does not work if LaTeX is used in bullet lists

It seems to work fine for me, but only in a first-level bullet though.

$\sqrt{3x-1}+(1+x)^2$

  • $\sqrt{3x-1}+(1+x)^2$

    • $\sqrt{3x-1}+(1+x)^2$
  • with some text before $\sqrt{3x-1}+(1+x)^2$

    • with some text before $\sqrt{3x-1}+(1+x)^2$

In a Gist. In a repo Readme.

Thanks @tiagokrebs. Strangely for me it doesn't work even as first level bullet

Seems like some of them are fixed... 🤔

At least at the first bullet level, it seems so... In my example above I played a bit with blank lines after the list items, and it seems to work also at second indentation level. Anyway, I hope developers will look into the issue, because at the moment the behaviour looks to me pretty erratic.
