Improve rails configuration

The rails configuration for this gem is still a bit flakey. This PR will make it more robust.

Next to that it will add the option to configure the path to the views.

@rmosolgo Any chance you could take a look at this PR? We at HackerOne use a fork a.t.m. to add the functionality for configuring different view paths. If this PR were to be merged, we could switch to the original client again.
