What happened

Getting error extension/package.json not found inside zip. when trying to install

Steps to Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. download github extension from https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=GitHub.GitHubExtensionforVisualStudio
2. In visual studio go to the extensions section, click on the 3 ellipsis on the top right of the left hand pane.
3. choose install from VSIX
4. Select the file just download.
5. See error on bottom right of screen.
