GitHub Copilot Sign-in Failed after upgrading to the latest 143 pre-release

Describe the bug

I have to re-login today after upgrading to 143. However, after I login for about 20 minutes, I got an alert as attached. I am confused as I have already login so I chose cancel. Any idea?

Versions

  • Copilot for Xcode: 0.43.143
  • Xcode: 26.0.1
  • macOS: 26.0.1

Steps to reproduce

  1. upgrade from 141 to 143
  2. relaunch Xcode and copilot

In pre-release 143, we switched the auth to a new OAuth app in order to enable more github features in future. That's why it asks you re-login again. You can ignore the notification dialog, it is a false alert.
