Sidebar and accordion: collapsed="true/false" or expand="id"

I'm creating a community Wiki for a pretty complex software and there's a lot of links I need to put on the sidebar (so it gets very tall pretty fast). I had an idea of taking an advantage of accordion in order to save users from having to scroll down in order to reach a certain Wiki section. But regardless of where I am in the Wiki, accordion always loads with the fist panel open. Would you consider adding something similar to collapsible's 'collapsed="true/false"' when it comes to accordion, when you have some time? This way we could create a separate sidebar for each namespace with a different panel expanded.

Or even better, maybe a command that we could put at the end of each page and which would tell the accordion that resides inside the sidebar which panel to keep expanded...?

I worked around it using block buttons and collapsibles that contain list items. Each namespace has its own sidebar which is a copy of the master one with the only difference being in the appropriate collapse parameter set to true. Difficult to maintain during wiki development because namespaced children must be kept in sync with the master sidebar (if some new entry is added to it), but once the wiki becomes more static, it will be just fine. :)

You may have a look at the "Folded" plugin or "inline folding" to use with your sidebar.
