Why instead of "Hi" it returns "Hi! How are you doing?"?

Hi,

I didn't understand that api.ai return the text which was spoken on the Microphone right? If I am, then why it return Hi! How are you doing? instead of Hi because I speak 'hi'?

What is the reason behind this?

Anyone PLEASE tell me. Its so frustrating.
