Import data into an existing database

It is not possible to import data (csv file) into an existing database. Can this be made possible?

This is not yet possible. The whole CSV import feature is very basic at this point. Importing into an existing collection or new collection would be only possible if some kind of native data type conversion is implemented because currently all CSV imports are handled as text (field type).

Not in near future, but I'll consider working on it, no ETA though, since it depends on my free time, except if someone want to do it first.
