Add a sidebar in the annotation editor that lets the user see a compact list of notes and highlights
It seems like you have to re-save a page whenever you add new annotations to it. Is it possible to save new annotations without having to create an entirely new copy of the file?
On a related note - is it possible to export annotations?
You can fix this issue by setting the option File name > file name conflict resolution to overwrite the existing file.
It's not possible to export annotation today. What export format would you suggest?
That was easy - thank you! This tool is really incredible.
I'm not sure what export format would be best. To be honest, exporting annotations isn't that important to me. Although it would be cool if you could pull up a sidebar when in annotation-mode that lets you see a compact list of your notes and highlights (useful if you're annotating a very long article and don't want to be scrolling back and forth to see your annotations).

Is there a way to choose where pages get saved in your file system when selecting 'Save page with SingleFile'? I've started saving pages created via SingleFile to various locations on my PC. When I go back and edit an old page by selecting 'Annotate and save the page...' (and then subsequently 'Save page with SingleFile' when I'm finished with my edits), I can't figure out how to make the new file replace the old one if isn't located in the Downloads folder. The file only seems to be overwritten/replaced if the original was in the Downloads folder. Otherwise I have to manually move the updated file from Downloads to wherever I kept the original.
