Wpost pages are not being saved correctly in Chrome using Singlefile version 1.22.60. The comments section text is being overlayed upon itself. This behavior was fixed in a prior version of Singlefile, and was likely re-introduced in the latest version of Singlefile.
Currently, Firefox Singlefile version 1.22.55 is saving the same Wpost articles correctly.
I cannot reproduce the issue with the default settings. Did you change any settings? It looks like scripts are not blocked in the page you attached.
I've been using the same settings for 3 years and saved dozens of files up to last week without issue. I'm testing the current settings vs default on chrome portable and firefox to see if there is a difference in outcome. The Wpost site is currently having issues so tests for that site will take longer.
Im using Firefox, Chrome, and Chrome Portable to test. I still got errors in the saves from Chrome and Chrome portable, so I reset the settings to default for both and retested once the Wpost network errors cleared (network error msg was related to the comments section) . Now getting good tests again for Chrome and Chrome portable. I imported my saved settings back into Chrome main and retested, still getting good results now. So maybe the settings needed to be refreshed after the last update. The only issue I still see is certain pages getting saved to an unusually high size.
For example: https://www.washingtonpost.com/style/media/2024/08/16/project-2025-dc-duffel-bag/ https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/08/16/vance-post-menopausal-female/ These two pages were saved at 40mb and 17mb respectively, using Chrome settings, and 20mb and 17mb using Firefox settings.
The normal page save size is from 1mb to 10mb for picture heavy pages, and these pages dont have a large number of images.
