Yes it seems to be included in the searchAssets endpoint:

I think the upcomming Workflows feature will do this. See end of this thread: https://github.com/immich-app/immich/discussions/1673 And Roadmap: https://immich.app/roadmap/
Using this on my shield tv pro + ViewSonic TD2230 (touchscreen) and would be nice to have a "smart" album.
I love this idea. Just to expand it tho to also the view area (when browsing via remote control) in addition to the Screensaver. Likely an option on the left side when browsing for Favorites (all).
I suppose taking that even a step further. While browsing, and in an album, where you can select the filters (sort order and image or video), maybe an option to see the only the favorited items of that selected album. Example I have 100 favorites in general and 10 of those exist in AlbumA. When I'm browsing AlbumA, and go to the right to filter, selecting Favorites only would display just those 10.
Woth 80k assets, my favorite numbers are growing rapidly and having these sets of controls would be great (assuming all doable via the api). Thanks again

Not to dictate how or when this is done as I'm always appreciative of the work being done, I just worry this road map item may be 6mo away. I know immichFrame which isn't quite the same, but that does have the ability to select favorites so likely could be implemented with existing api/tools regardless of this work flow thing.
