SAM WON'T OPEN
When I run the exe even as admin nothing happens and nothing opens, ive restarted my pc, and im just starting to get irritated at this point
Did you launch it from folder? Launching from zip archive does not do anything to me either.
I'm having the same issue, I've extracted from zip, used 3 other versions and still it wont open @gibbed I've used this in the past and it worked fine but trying to launch the program now seems to not be working.
Also having this issue.
Release 7.0.25 works fine for me, but 7.0.33 to 7.0.37 refuses to open.
Sometimes when you download files windows can "restrict"- their actions. When you download the .zip- file try right clicking it and select -> Properties -> Tick the "Unblock" -> Click "Apply"

I reviewed the change history and the only major change from 7.0.25 -> 7.0.33+ was the change from GetSteamUserStats006 to GetSteamUserStats013, which might be an issue if you have older version of steam.

If the application didn't display any error popup messages try the following:
- Try to launch the application.
- Wait for a bit
- Open up "Event Viewer"
- On the "Event Viewer"- select "Windows logs" -> "Application".
- There you should have one or more events with a level of "Error".
- Click on those and paste the description text under the "General"- category here.
- Try to launch the application.
hey sorry for the late reply I opened up event viewer but cant find the windows logs
