Doubt about multiple instances.

Hello, I would like to know what happens if I open multiple instances of the same game, are the hours counted according to the number of instances of the same game? For example, if I open two instances of Team Fortress 2, will each instance count the time independently? Will each instance give me 1 hour when it reaches 60 minutes? If yes, would using it this way be more risky?
