Can’t change values on Tf2

I’ve been trying to change the values of time played on certain characters but it never works. It either says 0 achievements and 0 statistics changed when i click commit changes or it says “An error occurred while setting the value for ...... aborting store.” Please can anyone help?

I would imagine at this point in TF2 most achievements or statistics can only be granted/set by servers, so won't be available through SAM.

It sometimes changes it. For example, I was able to change it on engineer but not spy.
