When I try to open it it says “Gibbed’s Borderlands 2 Save Editor has stopped working,” I have latest .NET and I’ve tried restarting my pc twice, I have windows 7.

This is probably either you have an incomplete .NET install, or you possibly have mixed versions of the save editor in the same directory.

If you extract the save editor files to a completely fresh, empty directory. Does it work?

If not:

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Open Administrative Tools.
  3. Open Event Viewer.
  4. In the right panel, expand Windows Logs.
  5. Click Application.
  6. You should see a recent entry with .NET Runtime under the Source column. Click this. You're looking for the one that has Application: Gibbed.Borderlands2.SaveEdit.exe in the General tab under the list.

If you're unable to find this entry, then it's not likely an issue with the save editor itself.

If you do find it, please copy and paste the text of the General tab into a comment on this issue.
