Make this awesome tool work as a single slider, not just as a range slider

I love this tool. Kudos and thanks to you. I'd love to use it for single sliders, that is, to choose a single number (or less likely maybe a single date) instead of a range. As far as I can tell, there is no way to do that. Can you please implement such an option? Thanks!
