Mention Eno
A much saner & simpler language than YAML, with focuses on robust implementations across languages & a comprehensive specification.
First I've heard about Eno. I've actually thought about culling the recommendation list of alternatives down to be just https://dhall-lang.org/.
I like Dhall, but Eno has muuch better syntax IMO for basic templating situtations than Dhall. Dhall is a (Turing-incomplete) language, with executable semantics, while Eno is much more of a boring data-encoding language. Dhall involves potentially (probably) querying the network to import functions. Dhall & Eno (& the other languages currently listed) have different strengths?
