Undoing/redoing is broken on Linux too. Ctrl-Z undoes multiple actions at a time. Ctrl-Y seems to undo sometimes and paste text (?) at other times ... Does not seem to...

Looks like there is a [typo responsible for performing undo when you try to redo via the menu bar](https://github.com/cpbotha/nvpy/blob/6b203ad44748fcb925b6dde06a2310497f423e52/nvpy/view.py#L860-L861), but this doesn't account for all undoing/redoing problems.

Is the rest of it a [Tkinter text widget](http://infohost.nmt.edu/tcc/help/pubs/tkinter/web/text-undo-stack.html) bug?
