Bug on Ghostery Private Browser 2024.03 (ae7dd1b): Proportional serif font won't work

Hello all,

I have tested this thing under both a regular use and Troubleshoot Mode.

It seems like the proportional serif font won't be displayed.

I go to Tools > Settings > General > Language And Appearance > Fonts > click on the Advanced… button > set the Proportional dropdown menu as Serif, uncheck the Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above box, and click on the OK button.

The selected Serif font won't be displayed, despite that I reload the webpages or restart the web browser itself. The selected Sans Serif font is displayed instead.

UPDATE: I have noted that this happens with some serif fonts, while it works OK with some other serif fonts. As far as I can tell, Mozilla Firefox 115.9 ESR works with all my serif fonts installed on my OS (Windows 10, version 22H2). So, I don't know what's the trick to reproduce this bug every time. :shrug:

I cannot reproduce it. I played with the listed font and a few others, and it worked every time.

I've checked it on:

• Windows 10 Pro 22H2 + Ghostery Private Browser 2024.03 (ae7dd1b)
• Windows 7 + Ghostery Private Browser 2024.01 (c41d1b9)
