Is there any way to unbrick the devices after failed update? Thank you.

First think I like to know, how do you brick the camera? Was it caused by this hack? This could be possible, never tried it by myself. You can find the firmware and the steeps that are needed for the recovery here http://bbs.xiaomi.cn/t-13601180 The site is in Chinese so use something like google translate to translate it. Would be nice to hear if you manage to debrick your device.

How did you unbrick it? I removed by a mistake some files from SD Card, and now it does not boot. I tried to copy a precompiled version and modify .cfg file. But it does not work.

@ppanagiotis Thanks a lot, but it does not work. I deleted some files out of /mnt so I guess I screw it up... I tried to copy tf_recovery.img to the root path of sd card. But LED amber is not blinking, it is permanent on.

Success report: placing the file "tf_recovery.img" on an empty SD-card formatted with FAT32 worked to recover my Xiaomi 720p camera
