How would you go about adding these unit tests? Do they exist in the Matlab source code, or do we need some independent way of deriving numbers to test against?

Hi Shayne,

I usually do both, whenever possible. Sometimes, closed-form analytical results are not available, in that case compliance with the MATLAB code, within reason, is the main goal, since this package is a port of it.
