Inability to Sync

I set-up Caldav to work on my Android (Galaxy Note 3), to sync with iCloud. When I do the initial setup and sync, all works well - my Galaxy calendar is populated with my iCloud calendar events. Subsequently, sync's do not seem to work in either direction (although they used to work from Android to iCloud). What's going on? How do I fix this?

... actually, I can sync from my Android to iCloud. But it does not sync the other direction.
