First of all, thanks for the module.

Please consider adding a CHANGELOG file.

You can look into semantic release which can generate all of that for your automatically based on commit messages.

I'm using semantic-release for most of my newer projects. I'll try and add a CHANGELOG file for existing changes this week and set up other tooling as well soon.
