@shyamsridhar123 I was wanting to do something similar, but with SurrealDB. Did you first review graphiti codebase, and decide it was easier to start fresh? I'd prefer to implement some sort of a driver abstraction so that we can separate concerns of core logic and database specific implementations.
Abstraction driver or some kind of adapter would be the way to go. When I realized it wouldn't work for cosmosdb I just wanted to learn so took the paper and started implementing from scratch
The FalkorDB team have done some work to abstract the graph persistence layer in #525 . We're reviewing the PR and hope to merge it in the coming weeks.
Following up here. The abstraction layer is implemented. Modelling the Cosmos support on the FalkorDB integration would be a great first step!
