I'm trying to make a bootable usb key, following the documentation but neither with Balena or Rufus made a bootable key. After thinking that it comes from my hardware I finally think it comes from the arhive because I'm able to make windows or ubuntu key easily. Balean Etcher stop at validation point, I tried to test the key but nothing boot, rufus made it correctly but still the same.

Balena Etcher version : 1.19.21
Rufus version : 4.5
Hardware tested :

I also tried and I really think that image is corrupt. A lot of other users are experimenting the same problem. I hope that the developers comes with a fix soon.

Did you unzip the .iso before flash with Rufus? Which setting did you use in Rufus? Thanks.
No unzip. I used the .iso.xz file from the instructions. It didn't give me any configuration options after I selected the image, just asked me to pick the destination volume.

I tried both, using the archive and also the extract iso, evene if the doc says : "Use Balena Etcher to flash the umbrelos-amd64-usb-installer.iso.xz file to the USB stick" both of them doesn't work. Hope developpers make and update soon, I didn't found roadmap...
This is already been posted as an issue #1843 please keep everything into the one issue so it may be tracked efficiently & hopefully we may have an answer soon.
