Umbrel amd64 install using partition not entire disk

Hello,

I am walking through a fresh install of Umbrel OS 1.0 and I have a 2TB SSD installed in my system and I selected this drive as the install location, but when I got into the UI, Umbrel was telling me on only had around 200mb of space total. My assumption here is that the install script is choosing the first partition (which is my case is the 200mb one).

I just wanted to point this out as it may be a place of friction for some users.

I have exactly the same thing. I installed version 1.4 on a 100 GB disk, chose 1 during installation, but the system only sees 128 MB

I use virtual machines in Synology, installed from iso for usb

the solution was to switch the virtual disk controller from virtio to sata
