App with corrupted config file cannot uninstall
I was trying to change settings on Invidious app in thee docker-compose.yml file and did enter some wrong parameters or something which make the app impossible to restart. I tried to uninstall it to reset the app and its settings but the app is hanging uninstalling. Tried to uninstall from this command ~/umbrel/scripts/app uninstall invidious but it fails too. Tried to restart Umbrel completely but the app still is blinking uninstalling in the UI... Shouldn't there be a way to force uninstall even if some files of the app are corrupted?
EDIT: To solve it, I had to delete the docker-compose.yml and create a new one filled with the default value from the Github repo. Then I did ~/umbrel/scripts/app uninstall invidious and then it uninstall (with errors) and went away from home screen too. Still I think it should be uninstalling even with missing/corrupted files.
Hi @ElucGeek, thanks for reporting this. Sorry for the delayed response. Have you run in to this issue again, and if so, do you know what errors were output to the logs?
Hi @nmfretz , thanks for your answer, I already forgot about this and no sorry I didn't saved log as far as I remember. If it's still not fixed I guess it's quite easy to replicate on a test system, just remove some critical lines or part of it in the docker-compose file and see if you can run the app, if not try to uninstall.
