Zonic allows you to convert your Satoshis into US dollars and back without ever having to sell your Bitcoin. It connects to your LND node and to the Kollider API to create a synthetic USD account.

This is useful for anyone who wants to take a break from the Bitcoin price rollercoaster and lock in a fixed US dollar amount. Individuals or businesses that have to pay their bills in dollars may find this particularly beneficial.

Note: This is not a stable coin on Lightning. It is a short position on an inverse perpetual swap executed on Kollider. You are exposed to Kollider’s counterparty risk and as long as you hold synthetic USD your Sats are controlled by Kollider.

Hey @djkazic! With Umbrel 0.5, we moved the all the Umbrel apps to their own dedicated repository — getumbrel/umbrel-apps. With this change, new apps (and app updates) go live in the Umbrel App Store in realtime as soon as PRs are merged.

So feel free to open a new PR on that repo if you're interested in shipping Zonic. Closing this PR for now. Cheers! :)
