Pi-hole - Update Gravity

Hello,

I have an issue while trying to Update Gravity (list of blocked domains)

I get the [✗] DNS resolution is currently unavailable. [i] Time until retry: 104

In this case, I can't do anything while it refreshes and it never updates. I can see that it scans the queries and only blocks the Apple domains as for now. Before that I ran the Pi-hole on my Raspberry but I was running AdGuard for the last year and it was way nicer and easier.

On the bottom of the page I see:

Docker Tag 2023.02.2 · Update available! Pi-hole v5.15.5 FTL v5.21 Web Interface v5.18.4 To install updates, replace this old container with a fresh upgraded image.

  1. I tried to re-install, it doesn't work either
  2. I made a new fresh image of Umbrel and format the SSD, same issue

I can confirm that everything else works perfectly (other apps). I also don't know how to update the Pi-hole or SSH into the Docker.

Hi @adamel339944,

This error is not related directly to the version of the application (2023.02.2). From my understanding, this could be :

  1. One of your block-lists isn't reachable (deleted?)
  2. The configured DNS(s) in your Pi-Hole aren't working.
  3. Your Pi-Hole configuration can't access the "internet"

To double-check, I tried to update my gravity list on my side and it worked (see below). image
