Not able to use Mixmax

I'm not able to use Mixmax after installing it. It just opens the mixmax website in a modal. mixmax icon in menu

Here is gmail in a normal chrome browser, you can see the mixmax icon

Have you tried to install Mixmax as a separate app?

thanks for the suggestion, but that's not quite the same thing. the main feature of mixmax is its ability to integrate directly within the gmail interface. this is missing if you just install the app as you mention.
