Station can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software

  • Application version: 3.1.0
  • OS: MacOS 14.6.1

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Unzip Station app from Station.zip
  2. Copy Station to Applications directory
  3. Launch Station from Applications directory
  4. See error

I understand that you don't have the ability to distribute DMG files at the moment, but I will not be using the app until this is resolved, and I am sure there are others that feel similarly. This is unfortunate because Station seems really cool!

Same error message here. I'm running macOS 14.5.

I have no problem side loading apps but I agree with @goldhaxx. Hopefully this is an easy fix for the dev.

Same issue. An older mac os allowed us to force open, but now that is no longer an option.

So for now, Station cannot be used by any new Mac users. Thanks for any suggestions

You can override the security check on MacOS.
