While the core of Vanguard is intended to be a big picture comms platform, it would be helpful to continue the push on different categorizations of content.

Right now we have two:

• Strategy
• Shipped

We set these up by restricting who can post to Strategy, and treating that as a "big picture announcement". Shipped on the other hand is open, and we plan to utilize it for its existing purpose. We could additional add a third kind of category allowing people to write up their own version of "strategy" (or vision, or brain dumps, whatever you call it), and treat how we publish posts differently.

I'm imagining something akin to a templated index page:

1. Choosing which categories are "big picture items" (and making them the highlighsts)
2. Choosing which other categories to show posts of (Shipped is here) and making them more clustered/listicle like?
3. Choosing which categories (or the remaining) which are published elsewhere (or not really "published"). These would be viewable on the users profile page, and maybe from some other areas.
