Group similar spans that repeat or nest

When we have similar spans repeated or nested, the trace view becomes hard to navigate. We should invest in span grouping based on heuristics and show them hidden/collapsed by default to shift the users' focus to the most important and distinct areas.

#686 is a very naive and incomplete attempt at improving the situation but it is not a long term solution.
