Gitlab sentry monitoring connection from gitlab won't list sentry projects for error tracking

SaaS (https://sentry.io/)
Steps to Reproduce
We have been trying to connect sentry monitoring in our gitlab repositories but we're not able to complete connection because the option won't list any projects we have even when they actually exist in sentry. We tried generating auth keys with the required privileges but reached no success. Can i get assistance on this since i followed everything on your documentation and any resources i could find.
Expected Result
List available projects
This can also be found on the gitlab page https://gitlab.com/[group]/[subgroup]/[projectrepo]/-/settings/operations after selecting the sentry monitoring.

Sentry error tracking in GitLab has documentation from GitLab https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/operations/sentry_error_tracking.html. We do not have access to see how this works in GitLab, so I would recommend asking GitLab themselves about this issue.
We only have documentation about installing Sentry's GitLab integration from within Sentry https://docs.sentry.io/organization/integrations/source-code-mgmt/gitlab/#install

I'm not sure if it is on sentry's or gitlab's side.
Are you trying to list personal or a team's project?
I've found I'm able to find my personal projects but not those that belong to a team.

That thread has a solution for tracking errors from gitlab (different requirements) but it does not say how to resolve the issue for the initial integration, and how to make team repositories accessible in sentry. I am hosting my data in the EU, but I don't know what changes I need to make because of that. I tried changing the callback URL from sentry.io to de.sentry.io but it said the callback URL didn't exist.
@spradlin-dev investigating this for EU customers is already in our backlog. I'll update this ticket with timelines when I have one.
Having the same issue.
Connecting to Gitlab Error Tracking using Sentry Custom Integration Token does not even work at all.
Only the token created at https://sentry.io/api for my personal user will connect to GitLab group/project, but unfrotunately it will not show any projects
Looks like Gitlab team has not fixed this issue with their Sentry integration. This integration is not built by Sentry so unfortunately there's nothing we can help with here. Please continue following up with Gitlab on this issue: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/issues/477989
As a workaround you can try install Gitlab integration on Sentry. That one is what we built and can provide support for. Instructions here: https://docs.sentry.io/organization/integrations/source-code-mgmt/gitlab/
