[Issue Details Code Mapping Prompt] Resulting POST Request Incorrect

Several customers are experiencing trouble using the form from the “Tell Us Where Your Source Code Is” with the GitHub integration. POST request is setting “http:” as the defaultBranch and returning an error.

Error message is “Unable to save configuration”

Steps to Reproduce

For some orgs (see linked Zendesk tickets below):

  1. Go to an Issue in a project that has a stack trace
  2. Project must not have code mappings configured
  3. Click "Tell us where your source code is"
  4. Fill out form correctly
  5. Submit
  6. See error above form that says "unable to save configuration"
  7. Inspect network to see that fields are not being associated correctly for example:

Unable to reproduce in my test organization (please see Zendesk tickets linked below for details regarding existing cases)

Expected Result

Code mapping is set up correctly.

Workaround

It is possible in this case to set up code mapping in the integration settings (Settings > Integrations > GitHub > Configure)
