Error while integrating Jira Server

Steps to Reproduce

1. Click on Issue tracking
2. And then it's throwing this error popup

Expected Result

This should open modal like this, and after that you decide create issue in Jira or link the issue in Jira

Actual Result

Got this modal, but i should get modal that i describe above.

Could not fetch project list from Jira Server. Ensure that Jira Server is available and your account is still active.

Could you check your configuration and/or re-install the integration to ensure your account is still active?

We have the same issue. sentry.io + Jira v8.1.0 (self-hosted) stopped working a couple of weeks ago. We didn't change network configuration or Jira permissions on our side.

@Har070 what Jira version are you running? This might be similar to #38291:

Jira deprecated the createmeta endpoint in v9.0^.

updating your Jira version to 8.4 should fix this.

@snigdhas So, you mean that Sentry <> Jira integration requires Jira 8.4+? Could you add an option like Use legacy Jira API?

Yes, that's correct. We won't be able to build support for a legacy API at the moment, but we'll update documentation to reflect the dependency.
