Applescript / external API support for Fusion 360 (please vote at Autodesk Ideastation so that we can support Nuimo)

Hi,

I posted an idea on the feedback page of Fusion 360. Fusion 360 is a very popular CAD/CAM application - also for makers.

Currently it only has an API for scripts that can be run manually and a limited set of hotkeys. That means that it is difficult to support Nuimo in a userfriendly way (since the Nuimo OSX application depends on hotkey or Applescript support).

Whether or not the idea will get attention from the Fusion360 developers depends on votes from users.

@wind-rider I don't have the app but I did find this list of shortcuts. I could write some applescripts that use the shortcuts if you want.

@larsblumberg thanks for retweeting, I also posted it to forum topics where this was discussed but not officially requested.

@ejwill those shortcuts are very limited: you can't define your own actions and you can't make them context-dependent. Also you can't use them to e.g. change a size of something with the wheel etc
