[Migration] Clean Summary

Open wombelix opened this issue 3 years ago • 5 comments

Hey hey,

as explained in #1330, I wanna migrate and enhance the clean_summary Plugin. Therefore I'm looking for a Maintainer to setup a repository in the new Plugin Org for me :) @justinmayer maybe you have some time and can help out?

Cheers Dominik

The offer still stands to migrate and improve the Plugin, would just need someone to create the repository in the new Plugin Org for me :) I'm happy to do all Code related steps on my own, so no further prep necessary for one of the Pelican Maintainer, the Repo and an initial commit (otherwise I can't fork it) would more than sufficient.

I support this effort! How about creating the repo yourself in your own account, an whenever there's again activity from maintainers transfer ownership? :)

Sorry for the delay, Dominik. If you’re still willing, I can set up the repository this week. I think I’d prefer to name the plugin something like summarytext to more clearly indicate its purpose — and to avoid implying that HTML tags are somehow dirty 😉

Thanks again for your patience. So just to confirm, are you still willing to help out with this, @wombelix?

Thanks, sure I can do that in future if that's the process, based on past experiences I just had the impression that asking for a repo in the new namespace and then doing the migration is the way to go.
